1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the erland.ai website (“Site”) and Fylla, our Google Sheets™ editor add-on (“Service”). By accessing or using the Site or Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site or Service.

2. Description of Service

Fylla helps generate or fill structured data in Google Sheets™ from your sheet context. The add-on auto-expands your selection, sends the cell values in that range, along with the spreadsheet document name and sheet tab name, to erland.ai's servers over HTTPS for inference, and writes the returned results into your spreadsheet. 3. User Responsibilities

You agree not to misuse the Site or Service. Prohibited actions include (without limitation):

  • Using the Service for unlawful, harmful, infringing, or fraudulent activity.
  • Attempting to access or collect data beyond what the Service intentionally exposes (e.g., other users' content, hidden APIs).
  • Circumventing technical limits, rate limits, or security measures.
  • Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code of the Service or underlying models.
  • Transmitting malware, spam, or content that violates third-party rights.

4. Third-Party Services

The Service uses erland.ai's backend over HTTPS, which may invoke third-party AI or language-model providers. Your use of those underlying services may be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services beyond our reasonable control.

5. Intellectual Property

The Site and Service (including text, code, logos, and design) are owned by erland.ai or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service as set forth in these Terms, no rights are granted. You may not remove copyright, trademark, or other notices.

6. Privacy

Our data practices are described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree to that policy.

The use of raw or derived user data received from Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND SERVICE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that results will be accurate or reliable.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ERLAND.AI AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 3 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY OR (B) USD $50.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or Service at any time with or without notice for any violation of these Terms or to protect users, systems, or third parties.

10. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date when the Terms change. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Venue for disputes lies exclusively in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
